About Our Community Foundation

Our community foundation was established in June 2000  to advance local philanthropy while responding to community needs and supporting charitable organizations. The Community Foundation of East Central Florida holds corporate, individual and family funds, that serve the charitable needs of  three counties in East Central Florida: Volusia, Flagler, and Putnam Counties. We build philanthropy by managing and investing donor funds, connecting donors with causes and projects they feel passionate about and enabling donors to make informed decisions through research, while the Community Foundation fulfills its mission.

Our Mission is to enhance the quality of life in our community by increasing perpetual giving, building community leadership and connecting donors with the causes they care about.
